BICFA Hands-on Training Programme 2026 has invited applications for a three-day hands-on training programme on Culture and Breeding of Catfish & Ornamental Fishes and Supplementary Feed Formulation. The programme, supported by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India, will be conducted from 6th to 8th July 2026 at BICFA, Guwahati Biotech Park (GBP) and Assam Biotech Conclave (ABC), Gauhati University. The training aims to provide practical knowledge on fish identification, breeding and culture techniques, fish health management, supplementary feed formulation, sustainable aquaculture practices, and entrepreneurship opportunities in the ornamental fish industry. Students, start-ups, farmers, entrepreneurs, professionals, and interested candidates can register by 5 July 2026. Only 30 seats are available, and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
