SSC CPO 2026 Notification: 1871 Vacancies, Apply Online, Eligibility, Exam Pattern & Dates
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC CPO 2026 Notification for recruitment to the posts of Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). The recruitment also includes Sub-Inspector (Fire) in CISF (Male). As per the official notification, the online application process will be open from 10 September 2026 to 30 September 2026, while the Computer-Based Examination schedule will be notified later.
A total of 1,871 tentative vacancies are indicated across Delhi Police, CAPFs and CISF SI (Fire), including 1,320 CAPF SI vacancies and 234 CISF SI (Fire) vacancies. Steps to Apply Online
- Visit the official SSC website.
- Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) using your required personal details.
- Log in to your SSC account using the registered credentials.
- Select Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2026.
- Fill in the online application form carefully with your personal, educational and other required details.
- Select your preferred post/force as applicable.
- Complete the required Aadhaar-based authentication or provide the alternative documents specified by SSC.
- The application module will capture a live photograph; follow the prescribed photograph instructions.
- Pay the applicable ₹100 application fee through the available online payment methods. Women, SC, ST and eligible ESM candidates are exempted from the fee.
