- The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced approximately 2,536 tentative vacancies for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2026.
- These vacancies are for Group C posts in various Ministries, Departments, Offices, Constitutional Bodies, Statutory Bodies and Tribunals under the Government of India.
Educational Qualification
- For LDC/JSA and DEO/DEO Grade "A‟ : Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
- For Data Entry Operator (DEO)/ DEO Grade „A‟ in Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Staff Selection Commission and Ministry of Culture: 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
- The required educational qualification must be possessed on or before 07 October 2026.

The SSC CHSL 2026 Selection Process consists of the following stages:

Important Points to Remember
- DEO candidates must appear in the Skill Test, while LDC/JSA candidates have to take the Typing Test unless specifically exempted.
- Final merit is prepared based on Tier-II Section-I and Section-II aggregate marks, subject to qualifying the required sections and based on post preferences.
- Tier-II is compulsory for candidates qualifying Tier-I, and candidates must qualify all applicable sections.
