State Bank of India (SBI) has invited online applications from eligible Indian citizens for appointment as Probationary Officers (PO). A total of 1500 vacancies have been announced under Advertisement No. CRPD/PO/2026-27/09. Interested candidates can apply online through the SBI Careers portal from 18 June 2026 to 08 July 2026.

• Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University
• Candidates in the Final Year/Semester of Graduation may also apply , subject to producing proof of passing the graduation examination on or before 30.09.2026.

HOW TO APPLY

1. Visit the SBI Careers website and open the Online Application Form available under "Current Openings" through the link given in the table below.
2. Register yourself using a valid email ID and mobile number.
3. Fill in all required details carefully in the online application form.
4. Scan and upload the photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, and hand-written declaration.
5. Review the application form before final submission.
6. Pay the application fee through Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, or UPI.
7. Submit the application form successfully.
8. Download and print the e-receipt and application form for future reference.

• A total of 1500 Probationary Officer vacancies have been announced.
• Keep your email ID and mobile number active till completion of the recruitment process.
• No change of category will be permitted after registration of the online application.
• Upload the photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression and hand-written declaration in the prescribed format.
• Preliminary Examination marks will not be added for preparing the final merit list.
• There will be a negative marking of 1/4th mark for every wrong answer in Objective Tests.
• Candidates are advised to check and confirm their CIBIL score/status before applying.
• No request for change of Examination Centre, Date or Session will be entertained.
• The selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India.
• Selected candidates will have to execute a Bond of ₹2.00 Lakh to serve the Bank for a minimum period of three years.
• Application fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
