A new Walk-in Interview opportunity has been announced for the post of Copyist (purely contractual) at the Foreigners Tribunal 8th, Goalpara, Assam. Eligible candidates who meet the educational, computer-course and language requirements can appear for the interview on 10 September 2026.

Educational Qualification

• Must possess a 6-month Diploma Course in Computer Application/IT from a registered institution.

• Good command over English and Assamese languages, along with good handwriting, is also required.

Salary

• The selected candidate will receive ₹9,000 per month on a fixed basis.

Selection Process

• A shortlist may be prepared in a 1:10 ratio, i.e. up to ten candidates per available post, based on the personal interview.
• Shortlisted candidates will subsequently be informed about the date of the technical test through the Goalpara District Administration website.
• The recruitment process will include a personal interview.

Candidates should bring their relevant original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies. The required documents include:

• Standard Form of Application as prescribed under Assam Gazette Part-IX
• HS or equivalent pass certificate and marksheet
• Certificate of Diploma in Computer Application
• Valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate
• HSLC Certificate / Admit Card / Birth Certificate as proof of age
• Caste Certificate, wherever applicable, for claiming age relaxation
• No Objection Certificate (NOC), wherever applicable
