The Guwahati Metropolitan Drinking Water & Sewerage Board (GMDW&SB) has released official notifications inviting eligible candidates to attend walk-in interviews for the contractual posts of Chief Accounts Officer (CAO) , Contract & Procurement Manager (C&PM) and Contract Management & Procurement Specialist. SALARY

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated remuneration ranging from ₹1.20 lakh to ₹1.50 lakh per month, depending on qualification, experience, and competency.

2. Contract & Procurement Manager (C&PM)

• Interview Time: 10:30 AM
• Reporting Time: 09:30 AM to 10:30 AM

SALARY

Selected candidates will receive remuneration between ₹1.50 lakh and ₹2.00 lakh per month.

• Reporting Time: 1:30 PM to 2:30 AM

SALARY

Selected candidates will receive an attractive remuneration ranging from ₹1.50 lakh to ₹2.00 lakh per month.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

1. For Chief Accounts Officer (CAO)

Candidates must possess:

• Post-Graduation in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Preference will be given to candidates having professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent.

2.For  Contract & Procurement Manager (C&PM)

Candidates must possess:

• Full-time B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, OR
• Full-time Master's Degree in Engineering, Public Procurement, Finance, Business, or Commerce from a recognized university or AICTE-approved institution.
• Candidates holding Professional Diploma in Public Procurement (PDPP) or Certificate Program in Public Procurement (CPPP) will be given preference.

3.For Contract Management & Procurement Specialist

Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:

• Full-time B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, OR
• Full-time Master's Degree in Engineering, Public Procurement, Finance, Business, or Commerce from a recognized University or AICTE-affiliated Institution.

AGE LIMIT

• Maximum age Limit for the Post 1 & 2 is 55 Years
• Maximum age for Contract Management & Procurement Specialist should not exceed 60 years.

EXPERIENCED REQUIRED

1. For Chief Accounts Officer (CAO)

Candidates should have:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in accounts, budgeting procedures, taxation, audit, and financial management.
• Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Central Government, State Government, Autonomous Bodies, PSUs, externally aided projects, or other government agencies.

2.For  Contract & Procurement Manager (C&PM)

Candidates should have:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement and contract management.
• Experience in tendering, contract administration, budgeting, taxation, audit, and financial management.
• Preference will be given to candidates having experience under Central Government, State Government, Autonomous Bodies, PSUs, or other Government agencies.

3.For Contract Management & Procurement Specialist

Candidates must have:

• Minimum 08 years of post-qualification experience in procurement and contract management.
• Experience in handling tendering, procurement, contract administration, budgeting, financial management, taxation, audit, and related activities.
• Candidates with experience in projects funded by the World Bank, Asian Development Bank (ADB), New Development Bank (NDB), or other externally aided projects will be preferred.
