Driver Recruitment 2026- Driver Vacancy at Sribhumi DLSA 

District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) of Sribhumi  of Assam has released an official recruitment advertisement for the engagement of Driver on a contractual basis. Eligible candidates can apply in Standard Form before the last date.

EDUCATINAL QUALIFICATION

• Candidates must have passed Class X (HSLC) or equivvalent examination from a recognized Board

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Applicants must fulfill the following eligibility conditions:

1. Candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
2. Must possess a valid LMV Driving Licence issued by competent authority.
3. Candidate age must be between 18 years and 40 years as on 01-01-2026.
4. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a four-wheeler driver.
5. Candidate must possess valid Employment Registration Certificate.

AGE LIMIT

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 40 Years
• Age will be calculated as on 01 January 2026.
• Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government rules.

IMPORTANT DATES

SELECTION PROCESS

The selection process will be conducted in two stages:

Stage 1: Driving Test

• Total Marks: 30
• Test Segments: Starting, Driving, Parking, After Driving
• Candidates must secure at least 15 marks to qualify.

Stage 2: Viva-Voce

• Total Marks: 30

Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Driving Test and Viva-Voce.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

Applicants need to submit the following documents along with the application form:

1. Three recent passport size photographs duly signed on reverse side
2. Self-attested copies of educational qualification certificates
3. Valid LMV Driving Licence
4. Employment Registration Certificate
5. Experience Certificate, if any
6. Age proof certificate
7. NOC from employer (if applicable)

HOW TO APPLY 

Candidates need to submit offline applications in Standard Form  of Part - IX as published in Assam Gazette Part-IX along with 2 copies of recent passport size photographs.  

Applications may be submitted personally or through the post box placed at the Office of District Legal Services Authority, Sribhumi.

The envelope must be superscribed with: “Application for the Post of Driver (Contractual)”
