District SLWM Consultant Recruitment 2026 – Nalbari

The Office of the Executive Engineer (PHE), Nalbari Division has invited applications for the post of District SLWM Consultant through a Walk-in Interview. Eligible candidates with relevant qualifications and experience in Sanitation and Solid & Liquid Waste Management can appear for document verification followed by an interview.

The selected candidate will receive a fixed monthly remuneration of ₹32,000. The walk-in interview will be held on 24 September 2026 at the Office of the Executive Engineer (PHE), Nalbari Division, Nalbari.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess any one of the following:

• Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW); or
• M.Sc. in Environmental Science; or
• Master's Degree in Social Sciences; or
• A Master's Degree in another relevant field from a recognized University/Institution.

Age Limit

• The candidate's age should not be more than 38 years as on 26 August 2026.
• Age Calculation Date - 26 August 2026.
• Eligible Date of Birth: 27 August 1987 or later.

Experience

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of:

• Sanitation
• Solid Waste Management
• Liquid Waste Management

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of community-driven rural/urban development projects, Water Supply, Sanitation, Solid & Liquid Waste Management and related areas.
• Computer knowledge, particularly MS Office/OS.
• Ability to work in a complex, multi-stakeholder and fast-moving environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Knowledge of Assamese, English, Hindi and/or other local languages.
• Good social, analytical, communication, interpersonal and planning skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the district/circle.

Salary

• The selected District SLWM Consultant will receive a fixed remuneration of ₹32,000 per month.

Contract Period

• The initial contract period will be 11 months. Further extension may be considered based on the candidate's performance appraisal and project requirements.

• Two passport-size colour photographs with the candidate's signature on the reverse side.
• Proof of age — Birth Certificate or High School Leaving Certificate issued by the Education Board/Council.

• Experience Certificate, if any.
• Educational qualification certificates.
• Other relevant supporting documents.
