EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Candidates must fulfill the latest eligibility criteria and norms prescribed by the UGC and Government of Assam for the post of Principal.
Essential Qualifications
- Candidates must have a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in a concerned/relevant subject.
- A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided at Master Degree Level for SC/ST/Differently Abled Candidates
- Applicants must possess a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned or allied/relevant discipline.
- Candidates should have a minimum of 15 years of teaching/research/administrative experience in Universities, Colleges or other Higher Education Institutions.
- Applicants must have administrative experience in academic or educational administration.
- Candidates should have a minimum API/PBAS score as prescribed by UGC regulations.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
- Applicants should have a minimum research score of 110 as per Appendix-II, Table-2 of UGC Regulations.
