Dhing College has released an official advertisement for the recruitment of Principal post. Eligible and interested candidates may submit their applications along with necessary documents before 30 June 2026.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION & ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Candidates must fulfill the latest eligibility criteria and norms prescribed by the UGC and Government of Assam for the post of Principal.

Essential Qualifications

1. Candidates must have a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in a concerned/relevant subject.
2. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided at Master Degree Level for SC/ST/Differently Abled Candidates
3. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned or allied/relevant discipline.
4. Candidates should have a minimum of 15 years of teaching/research/administrative experience in Universities, Colleges or other Higher Education Institutions.
5. Applicants must have administrative experience in academic or educational administration.
6. Candidates should have a minimum API/PBAS score as prescribed by UGC regulations.
7. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
8. Applicants should have a minimum research score of 110 as per Appendix-II, Table-2 of UGC Regulations.

AGE LIMIT

• Upper age limit: 55 years
