The Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) has invited applications from eligible candidates for contractual engagement under the Assam Integrated River Basin Management Project (AIRBMP), a World Bank-supported initiative. ELIGIBILITY
1. For Disaster Risk Financing Specialist
Educational Qualification
Applicants should possess any one of the following full-time qualifications from a recognized institution:
- Chartered Accountant (CA),
- OR
- MBA in Finance,
- OR
- Master's Degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance, Public Policy, Business Administration, Public Administration, Actuarial Sciences, Disaster Risk Management, or related disciplines.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in government, public sector, insurance, risk financing, or externally aided projects.
- Experience in disaster risk financing and insurance-related assignments will be preferred.
- Experience in leading multi-stakeholder DRF projects is desirable.
Age Limit
- No age bar as per World Bank guidelines.
Salary
- ₹80,000 to ₹1,50,000 per month (consolidated).
2. For Project Management Supervisor
Educational Qualification
- Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution.
Experience
Minimum 4 years of experience in:
- Project administration
- Office management
- Field coordination
- Monitoring and documentation
- MIS management
- Government or development sector projects
- Externally aided projects
Computer Skills
Candidates should have strong knowledge of:
- MS Word
- MS Excel
- MS PowerPoint
- Email communication
- MIS systems
- Google Workspace
- Online meeting platforms
- Data management and reporting tools
Age Limit
- Maximum 40 years as on 01 January 2026.
- Relaxation may be considered for exceptionally suitable candidates.
Salary
- ₹35,000 to ₹50,000 per month (consolidated).
SELECTION PROCESS
Eligible applicants may be shortlisted for:
- Written Test (if conducted)
- Personal Interview
- Presentation before the selection panel
- Candidates may be required to deliver a 10-minute presentation based on their professional experience, followed by an interactive discussion session.
