EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university or institution.
• OR
• Candidates who enrolled in AMIE before 31 May 2013 and successfully completed Parts A & B in Mechanical Engineering are also eligible.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam. As proof of residency, applicants need to upload either:

• A valid Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) issued in Assam for educational purposes,
• OR
• A valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate issued in Assam.

AGE LIMIT

As on 01 January 2026, candidates must be:

• Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age: 38 Years

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC/MOBC: 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years as per applicable government rules

• As per the Government of Assam rules, candidates are required to submit a Declaration regarding "Small Family Norms" (Form-A) while applying for the post.
• Applicants should ensure that the declaration is completed and uploaded in the prescribed format during the online application process.
