The Directorate of Tribal Affairs (Plain), Assam has started the online application process for the Assam ST Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarship 2026-27. How to Create OTR : Before You Apply

• Before submitting the scholarship application, applicants must generate a One Time Registration (OTR) Number by registering through the NSP OTR App and completing face authentication.
• After obtaining the OTR Number, candidates can log in to the NSP portal, select the applicable scholarship scheme, fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents, and submit the application before the last date.
• Applicants who had applied in previous years and already received an OTR number must use the same registration details for renewal.
• For renewal do not create a new/fresh OTR again to apply for the Scholarship at NSP as you have already created the OTR .

AADHAAR SEEDING WITH BANK ACCOUNT

• Aadhaar seeding with the student's bank account is essential to receive scholarship money through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.

• Bank accounts must be mapped at NPCI after Aadhaar seeding.

What Should the Student Do?

• Visit the bank branch (if required) and submit an Aadhaar seeding/application form.
• Check that the bank account is active and the student's name, Aadhaar, and account details match.
• Ensure Aadhaar is linked with the bank account.

What Does the Bank Do?

• Verify Aadhaar seeding.
• Upload/update the Aadhaar mapping in the NPCI database.
• Activate the account for DBT benefits.
