Assam Sports Pension Scheme 2026 – Apply for One-Time Financial Assistance & Regular Sports Pension
The Directorate of Sports & Youth Welfare, Assam has invited applications from eligible sports persons for the Sports Pension Scheme 2026-27. The scheme includes both One-Time Financial Assistance and Regular Sports Pension for permanent residents of Assam who have won medals in recognized national and international sporting events.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Applicants must be permanent residents of Assam and should have secured a medal in any of the following events:
- Olympic Games
- Asian Games
- Commonwealth Games
- World Championships
- Senior Olympic-recognized sports disciplines
- National Games
- Only medal winners are eligible to apply under this scheme.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Candidates must submit the following documents along with their application:
- Medal-winning certificate issued by the concerned Federation/Association.
- Affidavit disclosing employment status.
- Front page of Bank Passbook.
- Employee ID Card .
- Voter ID Card.
- Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC).
- Mobile Number.
HOW TO APPLY
Eligible candidates should submit their application along with all required documents to the concerned District Sports Officer on or before 30 June 2026.
