PMKVY 4.0 Free Skill Development Training 2026 at CIPET Guwahati

The Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET:CSTS), Guwahati has invited applications for Free Skill Development Training Programmes under the PMKVY 4.0 Scheme. Sponsored by the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India through the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), the programme aims to equip youth with industry-relevant technical skills for better employment opportunities. Selected candidates will receive free training, free boarding & lodging, hostel facilities for boys and girls, and placement assistance. Interested eligible candidates can apply for admission on a first-come, first-served basis.

Training Courses

Educational Qualification

1. Machine Operator – Plastics Processing

Candidates must satisfy any one of the following:

• 11th Pass with no experience, OR
• 10th Pass with 1.5 years of experience, OR
• 8th Pass with 4.5 years of experience.

2. Machine Operator & Programmer CNC Lathe

Candidates must satisfy any one of the following:

• 12th Pass (or equivalent), OR
• 10th Pass with 2 years of NTC/NAC experience, OR
• 11th Pass with 1.5 years of relevant experience, OR
• 10th Pass with 3 years of relevant experience.

3. Machine Operator & Programmer CNC Milling

The eligibility criteria are the same as the CNC Lathe course.

• Minimum Age - 18 Years
• Preferred Upper Age - Up to 35 Years
