Kamrup Fish Seed Rearing Scheme 2026 – Apply Offline for JICA-ASPAPALI Fish Seed Village Project
The Office of the District Fisheries Development Officer (DFDO), Kamrup has invited offline applications from existing fish farmers for the Development of Fish Seed Village with Transportation Facility under the JICA-ASPAPALI Project for the year 2026-27. Eligible fish farmers having suitable water area and experience in fish seed rearing can submit their applications within the prescribed dates.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for this scheme, the applicant must meet all of the following conditions:
- You should have a fish seed rearing pond with an area between 0.2 hectare and 0.4 hectare.
- If you have more than one pond, a maximum of 1.0 hectare may be considered for one applicant, depending on project feasibility.
- Your pond(s) should be located within 1 to 5 nearby (contiguous) villages.
- You must agree to contribute 20% of the total project cost from your own side.
- The pond should preferably be owned by you or your immediate family members. If the pond is taken on lease, the lease agreement must be valid for at least 7 years.
- 30% of the total beneficiaries will be selected from the women category as per the scheme guidelines.
- Selected applicants must agree to become a member of a Fisheries Cooperative Society during the implementation of the scheme, as required under the project norms.
Documents Required
Applicants must submit the following documents along with the application:
- Two recent passport-size photographs.
- Self-attested copy of PAN Card, Aadhaar Card and Voter ID.
- Self-attested copy of caste certificate (if applicable) and Bank Passbook.
- Self-attested copy of land documents/land allotment certificate issued by the Circle Officer within the last three months.
- GPS photograph of perennial individual fish pond.
- Notarized NOC for joint property.
- Undertaking stating that the applicant has not availed any State Government or externally aided Fisheries Department scheme during the last five years.
- Undertaking declaring that the land has no dispute.
Selection & Implementation
- Selection of beneficiaries will be made as per the norms and guidelines of the JICA-ASPAPALI Project.
- The proposed target may increase or decrease with Government approval.
- The scheme follows a cluster-based development approach.

- Collect the prescribed application form from the Office of the District Fisheries Development Officer (DFDO), Kamrup during office hours.
- Fill in all the required details carefully.
- Attach all the necessary self-attested documents.
- Submit the completed application form to the concerned office on or before 14 July 2026.
