Educational Qualification
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University/ Institute
Other Eligibility
- Candidates with an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) must ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31 December 2026.
- Candidates who are in the final year/semester of graduation may also apply provisionally. However, if selected, they must produce proof of passing the graduation examination on or before 31 December 2026.
Special Qualification for Ex-Servicemen
- Matriculate Ex-Servicemen who have completed at least 15 years of service in the Armed Forces and possess the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding Navy/Air Force certificate are also eligible, provided the certificate is dated on or before 31 December 2026.

Phase III – Local Language Proficiency Test
- Candidates who have not studied the specified local language in Class 10th or 12th and are provisionally selected will have to appear for the Local Language Proficiency Test.

- For Assam, the specified local languages are Assamese, Bengali and Bodo.

Probation Period
- Selected Junior Associates will be on probation for a minimum period of 6 months. During probation, candidates must complete the prescribed e-lessons. The probation period may be extended if the required e-lessons are not completed or performance does not meet the Bank's expectations.
Pre-Examination Training
- SBI will arrange Pre-Examination Training (PET) for eligible candidates belonging to the SC, ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen and PwBD categories, in accordance with Government of India guidelines.
