SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 7150 Apprentice Posts
The State Bank of India (SBI) has officially released a new recruitment notification for the engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Interested and eligible Indian citizens can apply online from here for a total of 7150 apprentice vacancies across various states and union territories of India.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
Candidates must have completed Graduation from a recognized University or Institute as on 01 April 2026.
AGE LIMIT
Candidates must fulfill the following age criteria as on 01 April 2026:
- Minimum Age: 20 Years
- Maximum Age: 28 Years
- Candidates must have been born between 02 April 1998 and 01 April 2006.
AGE RELAXATION
Age relaxation will be applicable for reserved category candidates as per Government of India rules.
- SC / ST Candidates: 5 Years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Candidates: 3 Years
- PwBD (General/EWS): 10 Years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 Years

STIPEND DETAILS
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 15,000 during the one-year training period. No additional allowances or benefits will be provided.
SELECTION PROCESS
The selection process for SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 will consist of the following stages:

Local Language Requirement
Candidates applying for a particular state must know the specified local language of that state. The language test includes reading, writing, speaking and understanding abilities.
Candidates who have studied the selected local language in Class 10 or Class 12 may be exempted from the language test.

- Upload scanned copies of passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
- Pay the application fee through online payment mode.
- Submit the application form and take a printout for future reference.
