District Social Welfare Office Majuli Recruitment 2026: 7 Posts Available

The One Stop Centre (OSC), Majuli under Mission Shakti, Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India has released a recruitment notification for various contractual positions. Eligible candidates who are permanent residents of Assam may submit their applications in the prescribed format for engagement on a purely temporary and contractual basis. Interested candidates can apply for Case Worker, Counsellor, Office Assistant, Multi-Purpose Worker, and Security Guard posts before the last date.

1. Case Worker

• No. of Posts: 2
• Salary: ₹25,000/- per month

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Law / Social Work / Sociology / Social Science / Psychology.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in women-related fields in government or non-government projects/programmes.

Preference

• Women candidates will be given preference during the selection process.
• Preference will be given to residents of Majuli district.

2. Counsellor

• No. of Posts: 1
• Salary: ₹25,000/- per month

Educational Qualification:

• Degree/Diploma in Psychology, Psychiatry, Neurosciences, Social Work, or Sociology.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in government or non-government health projects/programmes at district level.

Preference

• Women candidates will be given preference during the selection process.
• Preference will be given to residents of Majuli district.

3. Office Assistant

• No. of Posts: 1
• Salary: ₹20,000/- per month

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree with Diploma in Computer/IT.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in office documentation, web-based reporting formats, and video conferencing at district/state level in government or non-government organizations.

Preference

• Women candidates will be given preference during the selection process.

4. Multi-Purpose Worker (MPW)

• No. of Posts: 1
• Salary: ₹14,000/- per month

Educational Qualification:

• High School Passed or equivalent.

Preference

• Literate candidates having knowledge/experience in the relevant field will be preferred.
• Preference will be given to residents of Majuli district.
• Preference will be given to women candidates.

5. Security Guard

• No. of Posts: 2
• Salary: ₹12,000/- per month

Educational Qualification:

• HSLC Passed.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Security Personnel in a government or reputed organization at district/state level.

Preference

• Preference will be given to retired military or paramilitary personnel.
• Candidate should be a resident of Majuli district.

SELECTION PROCESS

The selection of candidates will be based on:

• Shortlisting of applications.
• Interview/Viva-Voce.

Shortlisted candidates will be informed through their registered Email ID or SMS. No separate call letter will be issued.
