Madhabdev University, Narayanpur, Assam has released an official recruitment notification inviting applications from eligible Indian citizens for the posts of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in various departments. A total of 21 teaching vacancies are available. Interested and eligible candidates may apply in the prescribed application format on or before 02 July 2026.

SALARY

1. Professor – Pay Scale: Rs. 1,44,200 – Rs. 2,18,200 per month.

2. Associate Professor – Pay Scale: Rs. 1,31,400 – Rs. 2,17,100 per month.

3. Assistant Professor – Rs. 57,700 – Rs. 1,82,400 per month.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Candidates must possess the minimum qualifications prescribed under the latest UGC norms for the respective teaching positions.

APPLICATION FEE

The application fee must be paid through a Bank Draft drawn in favour of Madhabdev University, Narayanpur, Lakhimpur, payable at State Bank of India, Narayanpur Branch (IFSC: SBIN0017208). The fee is non-refundable.

SELECTION PROCESS

Eligible candidates will be shortlisted by a Screening Committee based on their qualifications and supporting documents. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. Mere fulfillment of the eligibility criteria does not guarantee selection for the interview.

• The type written filled-in application along with Bank Draft and other supporting documents must reach the undersigned in the address mentioned below. Please note that the applications must be typed in proper format, hand written applications shall not be accepted.
• Only typed applications in the prescribed format will be accepted. Handwritten applications will not be considered.

IMPORTANT POINTS TO REMEMBER

• Only typed applications in the prescribed format will be accepted. Handwritten applications will not be considered.
• In-service candidates must apply through proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
• Separate applications and application fees are required for each post.
• Candidates applying under reserved categories must submit valid category certificates.
• Applicants may attach additional sheet(s) wherever necessary quoting the serial number.
• A certificate about good conduct from the Head of the Institution last attended or served (if not an employee of this University) shall have to be submitted along with the application.
• All post irrespective of any category shall remain purely temporary until they are confirmed after a minimum of one year’s probation period which may be extended if necessary
• Mere fulfillment of the minimum eligibility criteria shall not entitle an applicant for consideration for any interview. The `decision of the Screening Committee(s) for short listing the candidates shall be final.
