AASC DLL Interview 2026 – Shortlisted Candidates List for Lead Instructional Designer & Learning Designer

Assam Administrative Staff College (AASC) has released the list of candidates shortlisted for the Viva-Voce/Interview for contractual engagement of personnel under the Digital Learning Laboratory (DLL). The shortlisting has been made for the posts of Lead Instructional Designer and Learning Designer.

As per the notice, the Viva-Voce/Interview is scheduled to be held on 27 July 2026 (Monday) at 11:00 AM at the Maharaja Room, Assam Administrative Staff College (AASC), Jawaharnagar, Khanapara, Guwahati-22. Shortlisted candidates should report at the venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled reporting time.

Assam Administrative Staff College (AASC), Guwahati has invited applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Lead Instructional Designer and Learning Designer under the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) supported Digital Learning Lab (DLL) initiative. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

1. For Lead Instructional Designer

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in any one of the following-

• Education,
• Instructional Design,
• Educational Technology,
• Learning Sciences,
• Public Policy,
• Development Studies,
• Communication Design,
• Management,
• Social Work,
• Social Sciences,
• Mass Communication,
• Media Technology,
• Media Management,
• Engineering, or related fields.

Experience Required

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in instructional design and e-learning programme development.
• Experience in competency-based learning modules.
• Knowledge of LMS platforms and instructional design frameworks such as ADDIE, SAM, and Bloom's Taxonomy.

2. For Learning Designer

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in any one of the following-

• Education,
• Instructional Design,
• Educational Technology,
• Learning Sciences, Public Policy,
• Development Studies,
• Communication Design,
• Management,
• Social Work,
• Social Sciences,
• Engineering,
• Graphic Design,
• Media Management,
• Media Technology,
• Mass Communication,
• OR related fields.

Experience Required

• Minimum 3 years of experience in designing and developing digital learning experiences.
• Expertise in UX/UI design for e-learning platforms.
• xperience with Adobe Captivate, Canva, Articulate Storyline, Rise, H5P, or equivalent tools.
• Experience in multimedia development, video editing, audio editing, and interactive content creation.

SELECTION PROCESS

The selection process will include:

• Application Screening
• Technical Assignment Evaluation
• Personal Interview

Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the interview stage.

Contract Period

• Engagement will be purely contractual.
• Duration of engagement will be 12 months from the date of joining.
• Selected candidates will work full-time and in-person at Assam Administrative Staff College, Guwahati.

Job Responsibilities

Selected candidates will be involved in:

• Designing and developing digital learning modules.
• Creating competency-based learning content.
• LMS management and multimedia integration.
• Quality assurance of digital learning products.
• Supporting Mission Karmayogi Assam initiatives.

AASCS DLL Shortlisted Candidates 2026

Based on the recommendations of the Tender Committee, candidates have been shortlisted in a 1:8 ratio, i.e., eight candidates for each advertised post, for the Viva-Voce/Interview.

Instructions for Shortlisted Candidates

• Candidates must report at the interview venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled reporting time.
• Candidates must bring their original certificates/testimonials, proof of identity, and one set of self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents submitted along with the assignments for verification.
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
• Candidates who fail to report within the stipulated time may have their candidature cancelled.
• Shortlisting for the Viva-Voce/Interview does not provide any automatic right to contractual engagement. Final selection will be based on overall performance, fulfilment of eligibility criteria, conditions prescribed in the recruitment notification, and the direction of the committee.
