Educational Qualification
- Master's Degree in Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry/Zoology/Botany/Computer Science with Mathematics as a subject at graduation level.
- B.Ed. from a recognized University.
- Higher Secondary TET qualified candidates will be preferred.
- Preference will be given to candidates having teaching experience in UP/HS/HSS level.
2. Full Time Assistant Teacher (Political Science)

Educational Qualification
Candidates should possess:
- Master's Degree in Political Science with B.Ed. from a recognized University.
- Higher Secondary TET qualified candidates will be preferred.
- Preference will be given to candidates having teaching experience in UP/HS/HSS level.
Salary
- HS TET Qualified: ₹23,000 per month
- Non-TET Candidate: ₹21,000 per month
Age Limit
- Age will be calculated as on 01 January 2026.
- Maximum Age: 45 years
- Age Relaxation - Upper age relaxation will be applicable for SC, ST(P), ST(H), OBC and PH candidates by 5 years as per Government of Assam Office Memorandum No. ABP.06/2016/04 dated 03.03.2016.

Important Points to Remember
- Only female candidates are eligible.
- The engagement is purely contractual for 11 months.
- Selected candidates must stay in the school/hostel campus except during vacations when students are allowed to go home.
- Candidates can apply for only one post.
- Existing Full Time Assistant Teachers working in KGBV need not apply for FTAT.
- Candidates appointed without HS TET qualification must qualify the Higher Secondary TET within three consecutive TET examinations.
