Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed Class 10 (HSLC) from a Board or Institution recognized by the State Government or Central Government.

• Age Calculation Date - 01 January 2026
• Minimum Age - 30 Years
• DOB - Candidates must be born on or before 01 January 1996.
• Age Proof: The age of candidates will be determined based on the Birth Certificate issued by the competent authority or the HSLC Admit Card/Certificate issued by a recognized Board/Council. No other document will be accepted as proof of age.

Salary

•  Selected candidates will receive a remuneration of ₹14,000 per month.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must fulfil the following conditions:

• Must be an Indian citizen.
• Must be a permanent resident of the area where appointment is sought.
• Must be physically fit and of sound mind.
• Must not have been declared an insolvent or defaulter in payment of Government dues.
• Must not be a Government employee.
• Must not belong to any political party.
• Must possess land or immovable property in the concerned village.
• Preference will be given to family members of the existing Gaon Pradhan, and the views of the Mouzadar will be considered.
• Should be a person of respectable position in society.
• Must not have more than two living children from single or multiple partners.

Selection Process

• The date, time and venue of the Viva Voce Interview will be notified later through the following official channels:

2. Concerned Mouzadar Offices
3. District Commissioner, Kamrup official website (www.kamrup.assam.gov.in)

• Eligible candidates will be called for a Viva Voce Interview.
• Candidates securing the highest marks in the Viva Voce Interview will be selected for the concerned village.
• Appointment will be made only after Police Verification, and the decision of the District Commissioner regarding eligibility shall be final.

11. Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC).
12. Self-Declaration stating that the applicant is not a Government employee and does not belong to any political party.
13. Bakijai Clearance Certificate.
14. Caste Certificate (if applicable).
