Co- District Commissioner Dergaon invites application from eligible citizens for appointment to the 10 number of posts of Gaon Pradhan (Gaon Burha )  under Golaghat & Dergaon Revenue Circle. Interested candidates who fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria may submit their applications in the prescribed format along with the required documents on or before 30 June 2026.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Candidates applying for the post of Gaon Pradhan (Gaon Burha) must fulfill the following eligibility conditions:

• The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• The candidate must be a permanent resident of the area in respect of which he/she seeks appointment.
• The candidate must be physically fit and of sound mind.
• The candidate must not be a Government employee.
• The candidate must not be a member of any political party.
• The candidate must have land or immovable property in his/her name in the area where he/she intends to be appointed as Gaon Pradhan.
• The candidate must not have more than two living children from a single or multiple partners.
• The Candidates should not be a defaulter in respect of Government revenue or other Government dues.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

Candidates must submit self-attested copies of the following documents along with the application form:

• HSLC/10th Pass Certificate
• HSLC/10th Mark Sheet
• HSLC Admit Card or Birth Certificate as Age Proof
• HSLC Admit Card if Birh Cerficate is furnished.
• Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC)
• Voter ID Card
• PAN Card
• Three Recent Passport Size Colour Photographs of size 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm with white background
• Govt. Dues & Bakijai Clearance Certificate
• Documents(Jamabandi) supporting ownership of land or immovable property in the concerned area.

Self-Declaration (Affidavit) Certificate

Applicants must submit a self-declaration  (Affidavit)  certificate stating that:

• He/She is not a member of any political party.
• He/She is not a Government employee.
• He/She does not have more than two living children from a single/multiple partners

HOW TO APPLY

Eligible candidates must submit their applications in standard Form Part -IX along with self-attested copies of all required documents to the RKG Branch , Office of the Co-District Commissioner, Dergaon Co-District, Golaghat.

• Download and fill out the prescribed Standard Form ( Part -IX) of application .
• Attach self-attested copies of all mandatory documents.
• Affix recent passport-size colour photographs in white backgroundin the designated space.
• Submit the completed application form along with the required documents to the RKG Branch , Office of the Co-District Commissioner, Dergaon Co-District, Golaghat.
• Ensure that the application reaches the office on or before 30 June 2026.
