The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam has released a recruitment notice for the engagement of Professors on a contractual basis in Government Nursing Colleges of Assam under the Medical Education & Research Department. • Ph.D. in Nursing is desirable.

• The upper age limit is 50 years as on 01 January 2026.
• Age relaxation is applicable as follows:

• Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 10 years, irrespective of category

Salary

• The selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly remuneration of: ₹95,000 per month
