Field Officer (Disaster Management) Vacancy 2026 in Kamrup District

The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Kamrup, Amingaon has invited online applications from eligible Indian citizens for engagement of Field Officer (Disaster Management) on a contractual basis. The selected candidate will be posted under the administrative control of DDMA, Kamrup.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Science with Statistics, Geography, Environmental Science or Geology as a subject, OR
• Diploma in Civil Engineering, OR
• Diploma in Architecture from a recognized University/Institution.

Additional Requirement

Candidates must have knowledge of:

• MS Word
• MS Excel
• PowerPoint
• Internet Usage
• E-mail Communication

Preference

• Preference will be given to candidates having BCA .

AGE LIMIT

Applicants must be:

• Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age: 35 Years
• Age will be calculated as on 01 January 2026.

SALARY

• Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 28,500/-
• Up to 5% annual performance-based increment.

Contract Period

• Initial engagement will be for one year.
• Renewal may be considered annually

SELECTION PROCESS

Selection will be based on the following components:

• Graduation Percentage Weightage – 30 Marks
• Written Examination – 40 Marks
• Computer Knowledge Test – 20 Marks
• Viva-Voce/Oral Test – 10 Marks

Candidates shortlisted through the written examination will be called for the Computer Test and Viva-Voce.
