CSIR ASO Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 100 Posts
The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) invites online application for the recruitment of 100 Assistant Section Officer (ASO) posts. Eligible non-recommended candidates of UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024 can apply online through the official recruitment portal.
This recruitment is exclusively for candidates who appeared in the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024 but were not recommended for final selection and whose details are available on the UPSC Pratibha Setu Portal.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
- Candidates must possess a University Degree from a recognized institution.
- Applicants must be non-recommended candidates of UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024.
- The candidate's details must be available on the UPSC Pratibha Setu Portal.
- Candidates who do not fulfill the above eligibility conditions are not eligible to apply.

- After successful registration, a User ID and Password will be sent to your registered email and mobile number for logging into the application portal.

- Pay the application fee, if applicable.
- Submit the application and take a printout for future reference.

- The Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) is mandatory and qualifying in nature.
