Educational Qualification
General Requirement For Faculty Positions
- Candidates must possess the minimum qualifications prescribed under the UGC Regulations, 2018 (including amendments up to 2023) for appointment of teachers in Universities and Colleges.
- For Agriculture disciplines, qualifications will be as per ICAR/Government of Assam norms.
- For B.Tech programmes, qualifications will be as per AICTE/UGC/Government of Assam norms.
For Medical Lab Science
Candidates should possess:
- MD (Pathology), or
- MD (Biochemistry), or
- MD (Microbiology) with two years of working experience.
OR
- MSc MLT with two years of working experience.
Important Eligibility Conditions
- Ph.D. or NET is essential wherever NET is applicable.
- Where NET is not conducted, the Selection/Screening Committee will decide eligibility.
- Candidates having expertise in related, interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary subjects may also apply.
- Experience in Teaching, Research, Industry or Social Organizations (NGOs) is desirable.
