Educational Qualification for ASU Guest Faculty RecruitmenT
1. Postgraduate Qualification
Candidates must have any one of the following qualifications:
- M.E./M.Tech.
- M.S.
- Integrated M.Tech.
- M.Sc.
- Integrated M.Sc.
- M.Voc.
The degree must be in any of the following relevant disciplines:
- Food Technology
- Food Processing
- Food Engineering
- Dairy Technology
- Chemical Engineering
- Post-harvest Engineering
- Food Science & Nutrition
Candidates possessing a Master's Degree in relevant disciplines are also eligible, provided they have secured at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point-scale system from an Indian or recognised foreign university through full-time regular mode.
2. Additional Qualification
- Ph.D. in any one of the above-mentioned relevant disciplines; OR
- Qualified NET in the relevant subject
Other Educational Conditions
- The minimum educational qualification requirements will be governed by the relevant UGC/AICTE/NCTE regulations.
- A relaxation of 5% marks (from 55% to 50%) at the Bachelor's and/or Master's level is available for SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and Differently-abled candidates.
- All qualifications must be obtained from recognised Boards, Universities or Institutions.
- Candidates possessing qualifications from institutions declared fake or unrecognised by the concerned regulatory bodies will not be eligible.
