The Directorate of Tourism, Assam has invited applications from interested candidates of Assam for admission into the 1st year of the 3-year Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) programme in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (HHA) at the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition (IHM), Guwahati for the academic session 2026-27. There is no age bar for taking admission in the said course

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from CBSE, ICSE, or any State Board examination with English as one of the compulsory subjects.

There is no age bar for admission into the course.

SELECTION PROCESS

Candidates will have to appear for an oral test to be held at the office of the Directorate of Tourism, Assam, Station Road (Near Reserve Bank of India), Guwahati-1 when called for.

Applicant have to fill application form in Block Letters as per the following Format

4. Date of Birth certificate/HSLC or equivalent certificate

7. Name of Board/University under which qualifying examination was held
8. EWS Certificate (if applicable)
9. Permanent Residence Certificate
10. Other qualification certificate (if any)
11. Contact Number and Email ID
12. Date:- Signature of Applicant
13. Applicants must also attach recent passport size photographs and self-attested testimonials.

HOW TO APPLY

Candidates who want to take admission into the B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (HHA) course at IHM Guwahati must follow the steps below:

1. Prepare the application in block letters with all required details as per the above prescribed format
2. Attach recent passport size photograph.
3. Attach self-attested copies of all required documents and testimonials.
4. Mention personal details, educational qualification, caste category, contact number, and email ID properly.
5. Submit the application to the following address before the last date.

7. Last Date to Submit Application:- The completed application form must reach the office on or before 30 May 2026 up to 3:00 PM.

• Candidates may be called for an oral test at the Directorate of Tourism, Assam office after submission of applications.
• Only candidates from Assam can apply
• English must be one of the compulsory subjects in 10+2
• Applications must be submitted offline.
• Incomplete applications may be rejected.
• Candidates should keep all original documents ready for verification during the oral test.
• There is no age bar for taking admission in the said course
