Specialization Wise Vacancy for Performing Arts

The Department of Performing Arts has invited applications in the following specializations:

Educational Qualification

• Candidates applying for the post of Assistant Professor must possess the qualifications prescribed under the applicable UGC norms for appointment to the post.
• Preference will be given to candidates holding a Ph.D. Degree in the relevant discipline.
• Candidates pursuing a Ph.D. may also be considered based on their academic merit and the requirements of the University.

Experience Preference

Preference will be given to experienced teachers having either:

• At least one year of teaching experience at the University level; or
• Five years of teaching experience at a recognized college.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be based on the following stages:

• Academic Qualifications and Credentials
• Personal Interview
• Teaching Demonstration (Demo Class)

Each candidate must deliver a Demo Class of at least five minutes, which will form an integral part of the selection process.
