Pay Scale

• Professor: Academic Level 14 (Entry Pay ₹1,44,200)
• Associate Professor: Academic Level 13A (Entry Pay ₹1,31,400)
• Assistant Professor / Assistant Librarian: Academic Level 10 (Entry Pay ₹57,700) (as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix)

Educational Qualification

Professor

• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
• Minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC listed journals.
• Minimum 10 years teaching/research experience in university/college.

Associate Professor

• Good academic record with Ph.D. in relevant subject.
• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks.
• Minimum 8 years teaching/research experience with 7 publications in UGC listed journals.

Assistant Professor

• Master’s degree with 55% marks in the relevant subject.
• Must have NET / SLET / SET qualification or Ph.D. as per UGC regulations.

Assistant Librarian

• Master’s degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science with 55% marks.
• Knowledge of library computerization.
• NET / SLET / SET or Ph.D. as per UGC norms.

Application Fee

• Academic Level 14 & 13A Posts: ₹2,000
• Academic Level 10 Posts: ₹1,600

Fee Exemption:

• Women and PwD candidates – No fee
• SC/ST candidates – Pay only 25% of the fee.

Age Limit

Age criteria will be as per UGC / Government of India rules.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on:

• Shortlisting based on academic and research score
• Interview / selection committee evaluation
