ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
NATIONALITY
A candidate must be either
- A citizen of India OR
- A subject of Nepal OR
- A subject of Bhutan OR
- A tibetan refugee who came over to india before 1st January ,1962 with the intention of permanantly settling in India OR

SALARY
Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of ₹47,700/- per month (i.e. ₹29,000/- plus nine advance increments admissible to Junior Engineers) in the scale of ₹29000 - 1700 (3) -34100 - 2040 (4) – 42260 - 2720 (6) - 58580 - 2950 (2) - 64480 - 3370 (3) - 74590 - 4050 (1) -78640 and other allowances, as admissible from time to time. At present, initial monthly Gross emoluments for Junior Engineer (Civil/ Electrical) is approximately ₹91,309/-
******* The House Rent Allowance of 15% of Pay will be paid if accommodation is not provided by the Bank.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
Junior Engineer (Civil): Minimum three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised Institute or University or Board with minimum 65% of marks (55% for SC/ ST/PwBD) OR Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised University with 55% marks (45% for SC/ ST/ PwBD).
Junior Engineer (Electrical): Minimum three years Diploma in Electrical or Electrical and Electronic Engineering from a recognised Institute or University or Board with minimum 65% of marks (55% for SC/ST/ PwBD) OR Degree in Electrical or Electrical and Electronic Engineering from a recognised University with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
EXPERIENCE
Junior Engineer (Civil): At least 2 years’ experience for Diploma holders or at least 1-year experience for Degree holders in execution and supervision of civil construction work and/ or civil maintenance of office buildings/ commercial buildings/ residential complexes with basic knowledge of RCC design and other civil works, working knowledge of computers, experience in preparation of tenders for civil works, etc OR a 1-year graduate apprenticeship training in a PSU.
Junior Engineer (Electrical): At least 2 years’ experience for Diploma holders or at least 1-year experience for Degree holders in execution and supervision of electrical installations in large buildings/ commercial buildings having HT/ LT substations, central AC plants, lifts, UPS, DG sets, CCTV, fire alarm system, etc OR a 1-year graduate apprenticeship training in a PSU.
SELECTION PROCESS
Selection will be through Online Examination and Language proficiency Test
The online Examination will be objective type of 300 marks and the exam will scheduled to be held on 6 June 2026 tentatively. The section of objective question paper is given below

- Candidates qualified in online objective exam have to face Language proficiency Test. Disqualification in language proficiency Test means unqualified for the Appointment.
