Punjab and Sind Bank has released an official notification for the recruitment of 635 Apprentice vacancies across various states of India under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of Punjab and Sind Bank before the last date.

RECRUITMENT OVERVIEW

STATE WISE VACANCY 

Punjab and Sind Bank has announced vacancies in multiple states including Assam, Delhi, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and others. Assam has 5 apprentice vacancies in Kamrup Metro district.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Candidates must possess a regular graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute recognized by the Government of India.

Important Eligibility Conditions

• Candidates should know the local language of the state or district applied for.
• Applicants must produce proof of studying the local language at school or graduation level.
• Candidates who have completed Post Graduation are not eligible.
• Applicants having one year or more work experience are not eligible.
• Candidates should not have completed five years after passing the qualifying examination.

AGE LIMIT

The age will be calculated as on 01 May 2026. Age relaxation for reserved categories will be applicable as per Government rules.

• SC/ST: 5 Years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years
• PwBD: 10 Years
• 1984 Riot Affected Persons: 5 Years

STIPEND

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 12,300/- during the training period. No additional allowance or travel allowance will be provided.

SELECTION PROCESS

The selection of candidates will be based on merit prepared from marks obtained in 10+2 examination. Merit list will be prepared state-wise, district-wise and category-wise.
