Educational Qualification
The educational qualification varies according to the post level.
1. Level-2 (Grade Pay ₹1,900)
Candidates must have:
- Passed 12th (10+2) or an equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen, or those possessing higher qualifications (Graduation/Post Graduation) are exempted from the 50% marks requirement.
- For Junior Clerk cum Typist/Accounts Clerk cum Typist posts, typing proficiency of 30 WPM in English or 25 WPM in Hindi is essential.
- For technical artisan posts, candidates must have Matriculation (10th Pass) with ITI in the relevant trade. Diploma in Engineering will not be accepted as an alternative qualification.
2. Level-1 (Grade Pay ₹1,800)
Candidates must have:
- Passed 10th (Matriculation), OR
- Possess an ITI certificate recognized by NCVT/SCVT, OR
- Hold a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by NCVT.

Salary
Selected candidates will receive salary as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix along with other admissible Railway allowances.
