Samagra Shiksha, Udalguri has released an official notification for engagement in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya-III (KGBV) residential schools under SSA, Udalguri district. IMPORTANT DATE

Date of Interview for Shortlisted Candidates:  The list of shortlisted candidates for document verification and interview will be displayed on the Notice Board of the Office of the District Mission Coordinator, Samagra Siksha, Udalguri on 25 May 2026.

AGE LIMIT

• For Teachers Positions age should be below 45 years as on 01-01-2026
• For Helper Cook no upper Age Limit
• Age relaxation of 5 years will be applicable for SC, ST(P), ST(H), OBC and PH candidates as per Government rules.

SALARY

• For Teachers Positions Rs. 23,000/- PM for TET Qualified Candidates & Rs. 21,000/- PM for Non-TET Qualified Candidates
• For Helper Cook Rs. 11,000/- PM

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICCATION

1. For Full Time Assistant Teacher (Mathematics)

• Master Degree in Mathematics and Mathematics as a subject in Degree level with B.Ed.
• Experience in teaching in UP/HS/HS level will get Preference
• Preference will be given to Higher Secondary TET qualified candidates.

2. For Full Time Assistant Teacher (Geography)

• Master Degree in Geography with B.Ed.
• Experience in teaching in UP/HS/HS level will get Preference
• Preference will be given to Higher Secondary TET qualified candidates.

3. For Full Time Assistant Teacher (Science)

• Master Degree in Royal/Bio Science with B.Ed
• Experience in teaching in UP/HS/HS level will get Preference
• Preference will be given to Higher Secondary TET qualified candidates.

4. Helper Cook

• Class VIII Passed

RESERVATION & RELAXATION

• Reservation of all posts will be reserved for female candidates.
• Age relaxation of 5 years will be applicable for SC, ST(P), ST(H), OBC and PH candidates as per Government rules.
• Candidates without Higher Secondary TET qualification must qualify Higher Secondary TET within 3 consecutive attempts if selected.
• Preference will be given to candidates from BTAD area.
• Candidates already working in any KGBV under BTC area are not eligible to apply for the same post.

SELECTION PROCESS

• Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and interview.
• The list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the Notice Board of the office on 25 May 2026.
• No separate call letter will be issued.
• Selection will be on the basis of Personal Interview
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

• Candidates can apply for only one post.
• Selected candidates cannot claim regular appointment in future.
• KGBV schools are residential schools and selected candidates must reside in the school campus except during vacations.
