Sports achievements obtained on or after 01 April 2024 at International, Junior/Senior National Championships, Khelo India Games, Khelo India Youth Games, or Khelo India University Games will be considered for eligibility.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th Pass) from a recognized Board.
Sports Achievement Eligibility
Apart from the educational qualification, candidates must possess the required sports achievements as follows:-
1. For Direct Entry Havildar (Sports)
Candidates should meet any one of the following criteria:
- Won a medal at Junior or Senior National Championship while representing a State (Individual Event).
- Represented India at the International level (Individual Event).
- Represented a State or India in National/International competitions (Team Event).
- Won a medal in Khelo India Games, Khelo India Youth Games, or Khelo India University Games.
2. For Direct Entry Naib Subedar (Sports)
Candidates should satisfy any one of the following:
- Won a medal at the World Championship or Asian Championship.
- Won a medal in the Asian Games.
- Won a medal in the Commonwealth Games (CWG) or World Cup.
- Represented India twice in the Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, or World Cup.
- Represented India in the Olympic Games.
Age Limit & Date of Birth
- Minimum Age - 17½ Years
- Maximum Age - 25 Years
- Eligible Date of Birth - Candidates born between 30 September 2001 and 01 October 2008 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply.
