SALARY
Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly stipend of Rs. 25,000 during the contract period. Free hostel accommodation may also be provided subject to availability.
Contract Duration
The appointment will initially be for 11 months. The contract may be extended for two more terms of 11 months each based on satisfactory performance and institute requirements.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
Candidates must have:
- Three-year Diploma in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
- Minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant field experience.
- Important Note: Candidates having higher qualifications such as B.E. or B.Tech are not eligible to apply.
Experience Requirement
For Civil Engineering
Candidates should have experience in:
- Building maintenance
- Preparation of technical estimates
- Tender preparation
- Concrete works
- Other site-related civil engineering activities
For Electrical Engineering
Candidates should have experience in:
- HT/LT substation maintenance
- Diesel Generator (DG) maintenance
For Mechanical Engineering
Candidates should have experience in:
- Maintenance of air conditioning systems
AGE LIMIT
The maximum age limit of applicants should be 28 years as on the last date of application submission.
SELECTION PROCESS
The selection process will be conducted by IIT Guwahati as per institute norms. Shortlisted candidates may be called for further evaluation or interview.
