Lab Technician  Recruitment 2026 - Post Vacant at GMCH Guwahati 

The Department of Microbiology, Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Guwahati has released an advertisement for the recruitment of Lab Technician under the National AMR Surveillance Network Programme of NCDC. The vacancy will be filled purely on a temporary basis through a Walk-in Interview.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Candidates must fulfill any one of the following qualifications:

1. B.Sc. in MLT from a recognized university with 1 year of experience

OR

1. 10+2 in Science with DMLT (2-year course) from a recognized university with 3 years of experience

Experience Required

• Experience must be in a clinical laboratory
• Preference will be given to candidates having experience in a Bacteriology Laboratory

Desirable Qualification

• Knowledge of computer applications with certification

AGE LIMIT

• Maximum Age: 40 Years
• Candidate should be born on or after: 24 June 1986

SALARY

• ₹25,000/- per month

SELECTION PROCESS

The selection process will be conducted through:

• Walk-in Interview only if total candidates applied are less than 30.
• If the number of candidates exceeds 30, a Written Test (1st Round) will be conducted.
• Qualified candidates at first round from the written test will appear for Viva Voce for the 2nd Round.
