Flood and River Erosion Management Agency of Assam (FREMAA) has released an official recruitment notification for the engagement of Hydro Informatics Engineers and Data Engineer under the Hydro Informatics Unit (HIU), Water Resources Department, Assam. Eligible Indian citizens may apply for these contractual positions under the Assam Integrated River Basin Management Program (AIRBMP).

POST DETAILS

1. Hydro Informatics Engineer – River Basin Modeler (River Morphology & Sediment Transport Modelling)- 01 Post

Educational Qualification- M.Tech / M.E. / M.Sc. in Hydrology, Water Resources, Civil Engineering, or related disciplines.

Experience Required

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with MIKE21C, MIKE21FM, Delft3D, HEC-HMS, TELEMAC, etc.
• Programming skills in R, Python, or MATLAB.

2. Hydro Informatics Engineer – River Basin Modeler  (Hydrological Modelling)-01 Post

Educational Qualification- M.Tech / M.E. / M.Sc. in Hydrology, Water Resources, Civil Engineering, or related disciplines.  

Experience Required

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of modelling software such as MIKE 11-NAM, MIKE SHE, SWAT, HEC-HMS, VIC, WEAP, RIBASIM, etc.
• Programming skills in R, Python, or MATLAB.

3. Hydro Informatics Engineer – Data Engineer - 01 Post

Educational Qualification-  M.Tech / M.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.

Experience Required

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Data Structures, and Computer Programming.

SALARY

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 60,000/- (inclusive of local taxes). Annual increment of up to 10% may be provided based on performance. TA/DA will be admissible as per applicable rules.

TENURE

The appointment will initially be for 2 years, which may be extended based on project requirements and performance.

SELECTION PROCESS

Selection will be made through an Interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.
