Educational Qualification

Candidates must have a Post Graduate degree in Hospitality/Tourism or MBA from a recognized University/Institute.

In addition, candidates must possess a Full-Time Degree or Full-Time 3-Year Diploma in any of the following:

• Hotel Administration
• Hospitality Management
• Hotel Management
• Hospitality Administration
• Culinary Arts
• Culinary Science

The qualification must carry at least 55% marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade 

Desirable Qualification

The following qualifications are desirable:

• PhD degree
• Research paper publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Experience Required

Candidates must satisfy either of the following experience routes:

 1) At least 15 years of experience in teaching and hotel industry, including a minimum of 5 years of regular service after appointment in the grade of Lecturer or equivalent in an institute affiliated to NCHMCT, AICTE, State Board of Technical Education or a recognized University.

OR

2) At least 15 years of total experience in Teaching and Industry together, including at least 5 years of Hotel Industry experience in managerial capacity (one level below GM level) in a 3-Star/Heritage or above category approved hotel, along with 5 years of teaching/training experience.

• Age Calculation Date - 01 January 2026
• Maximum Age - 50 Years
• Age Relaxation - As per Government norms

Salary / Pay Scale

The selected candidate will be placed at Pay Level 11 as per the 7th CPC, with the notification specifying:

• Pay Scale: Rs. 30,000 – Rs. 1,10,000
• Grade Pay: Rs. 15,100

• The probation period, if applicable, is one year.
