Dibrugarh University has released an official employment notification inviting applications from eligible candidates for several contractual posts including Laboratory Assistant, Library Assistant, Grounds Man and Laboratory Helper. VACANCY DETAILS & QAULIFICATION
1. Laboratory Assistant-02 Posts
- Category - 1 Unreserved, 1 ST(P)
- Qualification - B.Pharm / B.Sc
- Salary- Rs. 31,400/- per month
Desirable Qualification
- Diploma in Computer Application
- Minimum one year working experience in relevant field
2. Library Assistant-02 Posts
- Category - 1 Unreserved, 1 ST(P)
- Qualification - Bachelor in Library and Information Science
- Salary- Rs. 31,400/- per month
Desirable Qualification
- Master of Library and Information Science
- Minimum two years working experience in library-related field
- Knowledge of cataloguing, classification and digital library works
- Knowledge of KOHA, D-Space, SOUL, RFID, OPAC and Digital Repository System
- Computer application skills
3. Grounds Man-01 Post
- Category - 1 Unreserved
- Qualification - HSLC Passed
- Salary- Rs. 19,200/- per month
Desirable Qualification
- Minimum one year experience in similar field
- Knowledge in maintaining sports grounds and fields
- Knowledge of operating tractors, power mowers and lawn mowers
- Practical interview will be conducted on these areas
4. Laboratory Helper - 01 Post
- Category - 1 OBC/MOBC
- Qualification - 10+2 passed in Science stream with Physics
- Salary- Rs. 14,730/- per month
Desirable Qualification
- Minimum 3 months certificate course in Computer Applications
- Working experience in educational or research institution
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam.
- Valid residency proof must be submitted along with application form.
- Age limit and relaxation will be applicable as per Assam Government rules.
