EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
1. For Professor of Assamese
- M.A in Assamese / Bengali / Hindi / Odia / Sanskrit / English.
- Candidates other than M.A in Assamese must have proficiency in Assamese language.
- Preference will be given to candidates having research publication or research work in Comparative Indian Literature.
- Candidates applying for Professor must have a minimum of 03 Publications indexed in Scopus/Web of Science.
2. For Associate Professor of Applied Geology
- Specialization in Petroleum Geology & Oil Field Development
- Candidates applying for Associate Professor must have a minimum of 02 Publications indexed in Scopus/Web of Science.
3. For Associate Professor of Economics
- Specialization in Financial Economics / Industrial Economics
- Candidates applying for Associate Professor must have a minimum of 02 Publications indexed in Scopus/Web of Science.
4. For Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Specialization in Pharmaceutical Chemistry
- Candidates applying for Associate Professor must have a minimum of 02 Publications indexed in Scopus/Web of Science.
5. For Professor of Sociology
- As per UGC norms
- Candidates applying for Professor must have a minimum of 03 Publications indexed in Scopus/Web of Science.
6. For Associate Professor of Petroleum Technology
- M.Tech in Petroleum Technology (Petroleum Exploration & Production) / Petroleum Engineering / Exploration Geophysics / Geophysics
- OR M.Sc Tech in Applied Geophysics / Geophysics
- OR M.Sc in Physics with Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Petroleum Exploration Geophysics.
- Candidates applying for Associate Professor must have a minimum of 02 Publications indexed in Scopus/Web of Science.
