• Vacant post for Male 9096
• Vacant post for Female 79
• All post for Pioneer is for Male candidate
• Vacant post for Pioneer 20

• In Assam total vacant Post = 288.(Male 286 & Female 02)

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION (As On 01/01/2026)

1. For Driver

• Educational Qualification: HSLC
• Technical Qualification: Driving Licence of Heavy Transport Vehicle
• Should Pass the Driving Test at the time of Recruitment

2. For Mechanic Vehicle

• Educational Qualification: HSLC
• Technical Qualification: ITI Certificate of 02 years duration of Course OR 03 years Apprenticeship Certificate

3. For All Other Tradesmen:

• Educational Qualification: HSLC  
• Technical Qualification: Must be Proficient and worked in Respective Trades

3. For Pioneer wing (Mason/Electricial):

• Educational Qualification: HSLC  
• Technical Qualification: One year experience in Respective Trades like Masonary or Electrician
• Preference will be given Certificate Holders

PAY SCALE

Pay Level -3  (Rs 21700 -69100)

AGE LIMIT

1. For Driver the age limit is between 21-27 years as on 01/01/2026

2. For Other Constable Posts the age limit is between 18 -23 years as on 10/01/2026

3. Age Relaxation is as per Govt Rule. 

• SC/ST 5 years
• OBC 3 yr=ears
• Ex- Servicemen 3 years
• For Victims children the age relaxation is upto 10 years depending on different social category. For details refer the advertisment carefully in nthe age relaxation section
