EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
1.For Engineering Disciplines
Candidates must possess Degree in relevant Engineering discipline with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University or Institute.
2.For System Discipline
Candidates should have:
- BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering) in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/IT
- OR Any 1st Class Degree with MCA
3.For Geology Discipline
Candidates must possess:
- M.Sc/M.Tech in Geology/Applied Geology/Geophysics/Applied Geophysics with minimum 60% marks.
4.For Rajbhasha (Hindi)
Candidates should:
- MA in Hindi with minimum 60% marks
- Graduation with Hindi and English as main subjects with minimum 50% marks
5.For Company Secretary
Candidates should:
- Be Graduate in any discipline
- Have Associate/Fellow Membership of ICSI
NOTE: Preference will be given to candidates having experience in listed companies.
SELECTION PROCESS
- The selection of candidates will be based on: Computer Based Test (CBT)
- The online examination will consist of two papers:
Paper-I
- General Knowledge
- General Awareness
- Reasoning
- Numerical Ability
- General English
Paper-II
- Professional Knowledge related to discipline
Exam Pattern
- Total Duration: 3 Hours
- 100 MCQs in each paper
- Each question carries 1 mark
- No negative marking
Qualifying Marks in CBT

SALARY DETAILS
Selected candidates will be appointed as Management Trainee in E-1 Grade with Pay Scale: Rs. 60,000 – Rs. 1,80,000
Service Bond
Selected candidates must serve Coal India Limited for minimum 60 months from the date of joining.
Bond Amount: Rs. 3 Lakhs
