The Border Roads Organisation (BRO), General Reserve Engineer Force (GREF), has released an official recruitment notification for multiple vacancies under Advertisement No. 01/2026. Eligible male candidates from across India can apply offline for various posts including Draughtsman, Hindi Typist, Store Keeper Technical, Operator Communication, Operator Excavating Machinery and Electrician.

Candidates need to pay the application fee online through SBI Collect only. No other payment mode will be accepted.

Steps to Pay BRO Application Fee

1. Visit the SBI Collect payment portal given in the link given in the table below.
2. Complete the online payment process.
3. Pay the required fee using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or UPI.
4. Download the e-receipt after successful payment.
5. Attach the copy of e-receipt with the application form before sending it.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

1. For Draughtsman

• 10+2 with Science subjects from a recognized board.
• Two years certificate in Architecture/Draughtsmanship from recognized institute OR National Trade Certificate with one year experience.

2. For Hindi Typist

• 10+2 pass from recognized board.
• Typing speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer.

3. For Store Keeper Technical

• 10+2 pass from recognized board.
• Knowledge related to store keeping and engineering equipment.

4. For Operator Communication

• Matriculation pass.
• Wireless Operator/Radio Mechanic Certificate OR Defence Trade Certificate.

5. For Operator Excavating Machinery

• Matriculation pass.
• Heavy Motor Vehicle or Dozer/Excavator driving licence with experience.

6. For Electrician

• Matriculation pass.
• Certificate in Auto Electrician from recognized institute or relevant experience.

SELECTION PROCESS

The selection process includes:

1. Written Examination
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
3. Practical/Trade Test
4. Document Verification
5. Medical Examination

Written Exam Details

• Questions will be objective type.
• Minimum qualifying marks: UR/EWS/OBC: 50% and SC/ST: 40%
• Written examination duration may vary from 1 to 3 hours depending on the trade/post.
