Eligibility Criteria (Updated)

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 30 Years
• Age calculation date: 16 January 2026 (Updated)

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have:

• Diploma in Coaching from SAI NS-NIS or equivalent OR
• Participation in International events with coaching certificate OR
• Dronacharya Award

✅ New Update:

• Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Coaching from UGC-recognized State Universities is now accepted

• PwBD candidates are now eligible for horizontal reservation
• 10 years age relaxation for PwBD candidates
• Scribe facility and extra time allowed during exams

• SC/ST: 5 Years
• OBC: 3 Years
• PwBD: 10 Years (New)
• Ex-Servicemen: As per Govt rules

 Important Update:

• Previous restriction on ex-servicemen age relaxation has been removed

Salary (Pay Scale)

• Level: Level-6
• Salary: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400
• Allowances: DA, HRA, TA, Medical, etc.

Selection Process (Updated)

1. Computer Based Test (CBT) – 40%
2. Coaching Ability Test (CAT) – 60%

Tie-Breaking Rule (New)

If marks are equal:

1. Higher CBT marks
2. Older candidate
3. Alphabetical order

Application Fee (Updated)

• General / OBC / EWS: ₹2500
• SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen / Female: ₹2000

 New Update:

• Fee is exclusive of bank charges & taxes
