The State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) for Class-III Posts, Assam has released an advertisement for recruitment to the post of Field Assistant (Statistics)/Enumerator under the centrally sponsored scheme “Integrated Sample Survey (ISS)” of the Directorate of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary, Assam. Educational Qualification

A candidate must have

• A Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university in any subject, having studied at least one paper of Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Social Science, Sociology or Psychology at the graduate level.

OR

• A Bachelor's Degree in any subject with 50% marks in Mathematics at the 12th standard.

Language Qualification

Candidates must have knowledge of English and any one of the following local languages as subjects up to HSLC

• Assamese
• Bengali
• Bodo

Computer Qualification

• Candidates must have knowledge of computers and be comfortable with keying data through a handheld device.
• They must also possess a minimum 6-month Computer Course Certificate from a Government-recognised institute.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years
• Age Calculation Date: 01 January 2026

• The candidate must have a valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate in the State of Assam.
• Candidates must declare the Small Family Norms in Form-A when asked.
• Candidates already in regular Government service must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by the competent authority.
