ASDMA Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline for Training & Field Executive Vacancy

The Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) has released an official recruitment notification for the engagement of Training & Field Executive on a contractual basis under the Assam Integrated River Basin Management Project (AIRBMP). The appointment is initially for 12 months or until the completion of the project, whichever is earlier. Selected candidates will play an important role in disaster preparedness, CQRT training, capacity building, and field coordination across Assam

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess:

• Master's Degree in a relevant discipline.

Preference will be given to candidates with qualifications in:

• Social Work
• Disaster Management

• Mass Communication
• Sociology
• Rural Development
• Any other relevant discipline

Experience Required

Applicants should have:

• Minimum 5 years of total experience in the social sector.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in training and capacity building.
• Experience in disaster management, disaster preparedness, community organization, or livelihood projects.
• Experience in planning and coordinating training programmes, stakeholder coordination, field operations, reporting and documentation.
• Experience with World Bank, ADB, NGOs, or other donor-funded projects will be preferred.
• Experience in first responder training, Civil Defence, Fire & Emergency Services, or similar sectors will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

Candidates should possess:

• Excellent project management and coordination skills
• Training and capacity-building expertise
• Good communication skills in Assamese, English and Hindi
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel, SPSS and other computer applications
• Ability to undertake extensive field visits
• Teamwork, networking and interpersonal skills

Salary

Selected candidates will receive:

• ₹70,000 to ₹1,00,000 per month (inclusive of local taxes)
• Salary will be finalized based on qualifications, experience and previous assignments.
• Official travel expenses related to project work will be reimbursed as per rules.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidates will be responsible for:

• Coordinating CQRT training programmes.
• Managing field-level disaster management activities.
• Coordinating with training institutes and government departments.
• Monitoring training quality and participant performance.
• Preparing reports, presentations and project documentation.
• Supporting procurement and distribution of emergency response kits.
• Conducting field visits and monitoring Circle Quick Response Teams (CQRTs).
• Assisting in implementation of disaster preparedness initiatives across Assam.
