AAU RECRUITMENT 2026 OVERVIEW

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

Candidates applying for the Comptroller post under Assam Agricultural University (AAU) Recruitment 2026 must fulfill the following eligibility conditions:

1. The applicant should be an in-service or retired officer of the Assam Finance Service.
2. Candidates must have at least 4 to 5 years of working experience as a Senior Financial Adviser under the Government of Assam before retirement.

AGE LIMIT

There is no minimum age restriction for this recruitment. However, the maximum age of the applicant should not exceed 62 years as on 01 January 2026.

SALARY

Selected candidates will receive a salary in the Pay Scale of Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 1,10,000/- along with a Grade Pay (GP) of Rs. 17,500/- as per Assam Agricultural University rules

For Retired Candidates

For retired applicants, the salary will be fixed on the basis of “Pay Minus Pension” policy as applicable under government norms.

Candidates need to deposit the application fee through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, Assam Agricultural University, payable at SBI AAU Branch, Jorhat.
